If Win thought he was acting strange, he didn't outright show it : he didn't question his behavior and answered every one of Sound's text with smiley emojis and lovely and encouraging words, but more often than not when Sound opened their chat he saw the little writing dots appear for a few seconds, only for them to disappear each and every time.

His eyes must betray his own hunger, his own eagerness, for the next thing he knows Vegas is standing, towering over him, pressing his thumb further into Pete's mouth. Pete knows Vegas' scent.
It's burning wood and encompassing smoke, dark and heady, complimented by citrusy undertones. It's something that Pete has always enjoyed, even before Vegas noticed him he looked forward the Minor Family visits at the compound, because it meant getting a whiff of such an alluring, intoxicating scent.
The smell that floods his nostrils is decidedly not Vegas'.
It's the salt water on the sea breeze, with hints of spiced rum adding an edge to the entirely omegan scent.
'You smell like Porsche,' he bites out, sitting up on the bed and glaring down at where Vegas is slowly coming to his knees. 'You let him scent you?'

The command sliced through the air like a blade, and without his consent, Pete found himself dropping to his knees, his neck instinctively stretching in submission. He fought against the urge, pain stabbing through him as his omega responded to the alpha's call. Desperation clawed at him; he couldn't let this happen.
The figure loomed above him, a sinister chuckle escaping his lips. "So you're Kinn's Omega. Do you really think you can break free from an alpha command? It’s cute of you to try."
Alarm bells blared in Pete’s mind. He’s after Porsche. With sheer will, he strained to lift his head, the effort sending bolts of pain through his body, but he needed to see who stood over him.
"I'll break that disobedience out of you, Omega," he sneered, the malice dripping from his words.
Despite the dread curling in his stomach, Pete glared back, "I'll be no one's bitch, asshole."
Pete finds himself entangled in a web of mistaken identity, caught between a raging war between two kingdoms and a powerful family curse.
