He could feel the pole of a lacrosse stick digging into his lower back and he rolled his eyes to the ceiling. This was certainly not the most comfortable area they could have hidden. Shifting in place, Stiles squished Derek’s arm to his side and used his hand to reach behind him and shove the sport’s equipment that was pressed against his spine.
Derek’s gasp was loud, and Stiles froze, fingers brushing against what was definitely not a lacrosse stick.

And then Stiles is murmuring “Fuck it,” and Scott feels something shaky roll down his spine, electric and heavy, and then it's all gangly limbs and the smell of Old Spice because Stiles is scrambling over the gear shift and crashing into Scott's lap, and he knows his hands are cold but he wraps his arms around Scott's neck anyways and kisses the shit out of him, and it's perfect.

Robby didn't know what he was going to do when he walked away from Frank in the ambulance bay, couldn't even think past the hurt of what the younger man had thrown in his face. Frank didn't show up to work the next day, but a request for a month-long sabbatical due to his ‘back injury' did come across Robby’s desk another day later, so two days after Robby found him out.
Alternatively: another fic where Frank goes to rehab, comes back to the Pitt, except he left one problem and came back with another and also he's Robby's puppy. I don't make the decisions.

So it’s not shock that keeps her from looking away, it’s simple curiosity. It’s the sheer unfamiliarity of her boss, Dr. Gregory House, world distinguished asshole, dancing .
The dance floor isn’t crowded, mostly because this is supposed to be a queer bar with music, rather than a full-on gay club. Still, House and Wilson are all over each other. It’s clearly sexual, but it’s also… tender? There’s evident care on the way Wilson avoids House’s cane with well practiced ease, even supporting some of his weight at times.

It’s past time to take action, Michael.” Dr. Fawcett sits on a wheeled stool beside him. Part of what Robby likes about her is that she doesn’t treat him like a doctor. It gives him permission to misunderstand or ignore the symptoms he should have clocked in his own body much earlier. Symptoms he would have noticed in patients immediately.
“Your BMI is pushing you into a danger zone. We need to talk about diet, exercise, and addressing the level of stress in your life. Too much cortisol and you’ll just be canceling out any lifestyle changes.” Her hands are cool and professional as she palpates his abdomen. Robby considers the ceiling while she finishes his physical exam. When was the last time he used BMI in his treatment of a patient?
Message received: he has to lose weight. Doctor’s orders.

The good thing about working in such a chaotic environment is that no one notices when you’ve skipped meals. Langdon’s always eaten like a bird, was always teased for it by family and friends. He prefers quick snacks to big meals, and that’s how it’s always been. That’s why he works so well in the Pitt. He shoves a protein bar in his scrub pocket, knowing full well he won’t eat it later. But it makes him feel like his old self, the one before the benzos, when he pretends he still has an appetite.
Langdon has a problem with food.
