Summary
Ilya Rozanov, captain of the Boston Raiders, has a boyfriend. A definitely real, suspiciously (and boringly) handsome, conveniently offline, consistently unable to meet up in real life boyfriend.
Who lives in Canada.
Unfortunately for him, absolutely no one believes him.
The more serious Ilya gets about his Totally Real Canadian Boyfriend™️, the more concerned his teammates become that someone either needs to call MTV and get him on the next episode of Catfish or that he's slowly losing his mind.
Shane Hollander is, fortunately, very real, very sarcastic, and increasingly delighted that an entire NHL locker room seems to think that he's a government psyop to distract Ilya from his game.

Summary
“Jean. Jean.”
His name barely registered as he felt hands on his neck. No, no, no. Please stop, please stop, please-
“Jean.” Kevin’s voice was firm and this time it managed to cut through the fog in Jean’s mind. Along with it came the realization that the hands on his neck were his, Kevin attempting to pry them off were only causing him to only squeeze tighter.
He couldn’t breathe. Drowning. Nails digging into his throat. Drowning. Blood sliding down the side of his neck, pooling at his collarbone. Drowning.

Summary
"Hope isn't for people like us," Andrew said dryly, raising an eyebrow in question at Jean's answering scoff.
"Neil," Jean pointed out candidly, "You pretend to hate him, and yet he is your hope."
Andrew turned to him, slow and menacing. "We were doing so well, don't make me push you off the ledge."
Jean shrugged. "It is okay. Neil is the one who told me I was allowed to hope again."
A misunderstanding with Jeremy sends Jean running into the arms of the Foxes just in time for Christmas break. But when all is said and done, Jeremy will always be the home Jean returns to.

Summary
Jean thinks he should’ve known. He was never meant to have this. The sun is coming through the blinds in warm slits that spread across the floor of the living room and Jean’s sitting on the couch with Jeremy at his side. Their thighs are pressed close together and Jean tries not to think about it but he can admit when he fails.
