Amanda puts down the book she's been unable to concentrate on for half an hour and turns her gaze to Max. Hands, previously flicking through a series of fresh photos on her camera, pause, and Max asks, confused:
"Taking photos?" making it clear that the thoughts Amanda found overwhelming and pressing had been confined to her mind this entire time and hadn't affected surroundings in any way. Or maybe Max was way too into pictures again and didn't hear Amanda call out to her.
"No," tucking her legs, wrapped in a small blanket, Amanda leaning sideways against the back of the sofa in Hellerton House. "Rewind time."
OR
Amanda wants to know what it's like to rewind time. And she gets it.
