“What do I do? I uh, I work in networking,” he says, drastically oversimplifying it, and it forces Andy to wonder what lie he's been feeding his family. “Connect people who need to be connected. Sort of self employed. I suppose I see a client's needs, and then see that those needs are met.” Frank, like he's just discovered something, gets a dangerous glint in his eye and playfully points his fork at Andy with a smile. “I guess in that way, our jobs are a lot alike, aren't they?”

To begin it plainly, she had loved him.
Or, at least, that is what she believed.
It is easy to believe that one has had the wool pulled over their eyes, that the rose tint coloring their world made them into fools. That a poisonous and ruinous mixture had somehow been sneaked into them without their knowledge or consent. It is much easier, more comforting to believe this, rather than the likely truth that it had been a series of conscious choices. That a part of that person is poisonous and ruinous.
Anora still is not sure which was the reality of her life before the Reichenbach Fall.

Req: got a damien karras idea: karras x vampire reader (i imagine them as male but any gender is also fine). the idea is vampire reader notices karras’ ordeal, corners him in a night lit alley and gives him a deal: they can make it so he can be immune to the demon at a terrible cost, only to be refused. they show respect to his faith before bidding farewell, kind of a sad story. they can pepper in charms in between but this isn’t mandatory, for example turning his jaw or teasing him “you know little, don’t you?”. im fine if this doesnt get picked up tho, have a nice day!
