Lan Wangji blinked, seemingly stunned at the unexpected question. He wanted to say yes. A thousand times yes. In my dreams. If we are living in my dreams then yes, he is mine.

Summary
Wangxian modern au where Wei Ying is in a ✨strangers✨ with benefits relationship with Lan Zhan.
Lan Zhan is of course in love with Wei Ying (in any au, when was he never?).
But Wei Ying isn't. Or he thinks he wasn't.
Between school and A-yuan, and his overall difficult life, he doesn't really have time for any emotions.
It's just a burden and God knows he doesn't need any more than what he already has. If the people in love around him were anything to go by, he'd rather not have it, thank you very much. No love, no drama, no problem. Maybe some savings instead.
He has A-yuan anyway, his sweet little child. He's all he needs, and all he wants to care about, and if he can give A-yuan the best life that he never had, he'd sure be satisfied.
Sadly, that best life comes with a price.
Doesn't matter. Nothing's too expensive as long as it makes A-yuan happy and comfortable. He will pay it. A-yuan deserves the world.
Turns out, that payment is going to be his body.
