It was just a few degrees south of being truly comfortable, that strange chill of anticipation and nervousness winding through the air that made the hair on his arms stand on end – but more importantly, it made the quiet chill sink deep into his bones. It slunk down though the matrix of collagen and phosphate, settling deep into the mesenchyme and seeping through his bone marrow until he froze, slowly, from the inside out; until it felt like his bones creaked and ground against each other with every slow, unadvisable shift of his slow, cold body.
He was on edge.
It was the chill in the air, the smell of cold alcohol and peroxide and that sharp unnameable something that made his head ache after sitting here for as long as he had, the feeling of holding his breath and waiting for the inevitable storm to break.
Leno gets hurt in battle, but Narumi is there to watch over him as he gets better <3

"No. People always ask me, and I actually don't like driving. At all… Unless I'm going fast."
The host laughed. Then he asked, "Don't people get nervous when you're in the passenger seat, and they're driving? Scared that you're judging their driving abilities?"
This time, it was Narumi's time to laugh. "I'm a great passenger! The best! My fiancé is the one that drives. He doesn't like driving either, but…"
He froze.
His brain stopped functioning.
What the fuck had he just said?
