Summary
Based on BlackContour's fic about a curse that befell Sasaki, Hirano and Ogasawara, the original author left the fates of Hirano and Ogasawara for interpretation, so the bug that makes my brain itch, decided to write the interpretation for Hirano and Kagiura.
An unexplained fever makes Hirano act completely out of character, and Kagiura has no idea what to do about it, until he gets some answers from his fujoshi and fudanshi acquantainces, but, is this the right answer?

Ilya Rozanov desperately wants to find his soulmate. So much so, he wants to become a professional hockey player, move to the states, just so he can travel the world and talk to as many people as possible. Because doing so means he could find certain love in his life.
They make this way harder on themselves than it needs to be.

“No?” Shane asks. He tightens his grip, watching as Ilya’s flush turns white around his fingers. “No you’re not a brat? No you’re not pathetic? No you’re not as stupid as a puppy?”
Ilya pants into the space between them. Shane smiles, forcing Ilya’s head up and down and up and down and-
“Yes you are? You are all those things?”
Ilya struggles against his hold, thumping his head into the wall behind him in his efforts to shake his head ‘no’. Shane digs his nails in, drawing a quiet whimper from Ilya.
“Good,” he whispers. “Glad we’re on the same page, at least.”
(Or, Ilya is bratting by not playing well. Shane sees and takes him apart when they get home.)

“Ilay.” His voice was calm in a way that suggested it wouldn’t stay that way for long. “Have you seen the oats?”
There was a long pause and then a splash. After some muffled words, Ilya’s voice travelled throughout the house, his tone letting Shane know that he was up to no good.
“…..Define ‘saw’.”
Shane closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. Of course, Ilya had something to do with the missing oats. Of course, his husband would decide today was the day to dabble in petty theft.
“Ilya, what did you do with them? I’m trying to prep our breakfast for the week.”
There was another stretch of silence, only broken up by the sound of splashing water coming from the bathroom.
“They’re not gone, just not breakfast anymore.”

Shane just wants to meal prep in peace. Unfortunately, Ilya has other ideas, and Anya is just along for the ride.
