Genkai has lived for far longer than she feels she should've, and she's seen a hell of a lot of nastiness in that time, but one thing that never fails to tug at her heartstrings - withered and old as they are - is when she sees babies forced to become parents to their own babies far too soon.
So when her dimwitted (but golden-hearted) student appears on her doorstep with his far-too-young mother slung over his shoulders, Genkai doesn't hesitate. That dimwit is hers, and his mama is far too young to really be a mother to him, so Genkai might as well claim her too.(Or, Genkai saw 30-year-old Atsuko arguing like a teenager with her 15-year-old son and went "Oh hells, they're both infants. Is anyone looking after these babies? No? Mine now." without waiting for anyone to try and stop her.)

Summary
Once the Kenobi floodgates are opened, they cannot be closed. Cody has apparently been keeping an itemized list of disagreements, and he is determined to tell Rex each and every one of them.
Kenobi refuses to listen to Cody’s input. Kenobi throws himself into battle with no regard for previously established battle plans. Kenobi uses the Force so recklessly and obviously that every undercover assignment is blown within the first few minutes. Kenobi is a hypocrite who berates Cody for sidestepping protocol, but flouts it himself at every opportunity.

Boba leaves Djarin to his tracking while he takes deep breaths and tries to convince himself that running screaming into the wastes is not how he is going to deal with all this. He needs to think smarter, not harder. The sarlacc is an enormous motherfucking terror dome. It cannot move far, and it cannot possibly move fast. If it moved, it has to be around here somewhere. Someone has to have felt it or seen it.
Someone has to know something about sarlaccs. Someone living. Someone dead.

"An Officer and a Gentleman", "Out and Far Tonight", and "Major Heart" take place during the Korean War.
