He wore a pair of black sneakers instead of those stupid red ones he was obsessed with. And a black suit, simple. He looked clean despite not having showered in days. Even Izuku was surprised with himself. He didn’t think he could force himself to look presentable at the moment but here they were, walking out of the dorms and getting in a car to bring them to the one place Izuku never imagined he would have to endure going to, Kacchan’s funeral.
Funerals suck. That's all.

Tears began to drop on the ground. Against himself, Armand looked up. She had her back turned to him, but she was still in that yellow dress, scuffed and bloody, and clearly bunching it up with her hands in frustration. No–agony would be more accurate. “I mean fuck, Armand, what about me?”
Armand was chosen. Claudia was not. He knew the anguish she was expressing so well, but it no longer needed to be his own. What happened next was cruel, but Armand had already piled plenty of cruelties onto this girl. A small, self-satisfied smile crept onto his face. At least he was not receiving the very shortest end of the stick.
