Taehyung had always known that he was different. He never fit in with what was normal. His body nor his eyes nor the mystical powers that were thrumming through his veins. Being home schooled all his life and living his life with his wonderful mother, his world comes shattering down in one night.
As a last act to save himself, he runs. He runs into the wilderness, he runs into the unknown without turning back. Unbeknownst to him, a whole new world lay beyond the dreadful woods feared by everyone, in the depth of the mountains and trees. A world were he might be normal.

The Virus started as a pandemic.
No one ever got around to finding patient zero, because by the time scientists had connected the dots, it was already too late.
It started as some variation of chicken pox, but was soon revealed to be more dangerous. More lethal. It was mayhem during those days. Lockdowns and mandatory curfews everywhere.Eventually, things took a turn for the worse.
They weren't able to control the virus. There was no vaccine to prevent it. No medication to cure it. The virus was airborne and it spread like the flu on a kid's birhday party. The death toll kept rising and there weren't enough resources to study the virus. Not enough time to save humanity before the final act began. Because the Virus did what any living organism does:
It changed.
And if Jungkook wants to have any chance at surival, he must change too.
