Summary
Billy Loomis is a successful author who rewrites the planned murders he wrote in highschool of his friends and family as the plots of his horror novels, STAB! In desperation to get his publicist, Gale Weathers, off his ass about promoting his newest book, he agrees to go to a week-long horror convention. While there, he meets one of the photographers, Stu Macher, who photographs the guest stars and also happens to be a big fan of his books. They learn they each have a similar love for all things sinister, and scheme to go through with some of those hidden plans Billy wrote in his notebooks so many years ago.

Summary
Michael Ponyboy Miller was born into money. He was what the town of Tulsa, Oklahoma, called a "soc". He used to have the perfect life, with a loving mom and dad to spoil him rotten. But one day, his mom was killed in a car accident where she was hit by a train while crossing the tracks to the east side of town, and Michael lost everything after that. His mom, his friends, his dad, and his happiness.
It seems like nothing will ever get better, but when he makes friends with a timid greaser who is so much like him, life seems to turn around. Even though Michael despises greasers after their turf took his mother away from him, he still wants to give them a chance because he has nothing else to lose. Maybe, just maybe, he might find a new family this way, too.

Darry couldn't stay in Tulsa anymore. Sooner or later someone would find out about him and Paul and he couldn't bare to think about how his family would react. That's why it's better that he left so that he could fade away in a big city like Chicago. It was a good plan too until he got a call from a social worker saying that his parents were dead and he was the one they were hoping be Ponyboy's and Soda's new guardian.
Soda didn't want to leave Tulsa. He left behind everything he had ever known only to move to Chicago to go live with the older brother that he'd rather forget about. And while his new job at the auto shop was nice, once he got home he could tell that there was something going on that no one was telling him.
Ponyboy never wanted to move to a big city and now he was there he had all the more reasons for why he wanted to move out into the country. However, there were a few reasons why he needed to stay for now. He still needed to get his degree, Soda was there with him, and there was boy with an angry scar on his cheek in one of Ponyboy's classes that he couldn't help but find intriguing.
