It really shouldn’t have come as a shock that Link would, as always, offer Rhett something that would have his brain on fire with questions and possibilities. They’ve built their career around setting each other off, finding exactly what they need to propel one another towards the next big thing.
Link’s found a button, and somewhere in the house he’s leaning on it and waiting for Rhett to catch up.
Okay, Rhett thinks, centering himself. Link’s eighteen, skipping out on gym class - no, forgot his clothes for soccer practice after school, that’s more likely. Hanging around outside waiting for me - waiting for eighteen-year-old Rhett to finish basketball practice. Did that mean that this SoCal version of Rhett was trying to pick a teenager up on freaking school property?
It’s messed up, but Rhett’s stomach twists hotly with interest. He laughs softly - at himself, at the situation, at the fact that they’re actually doing this - before heading off to find Link once more.

For Kinktober Day 6: Size Difference. I know this isn't a typical interpretation of a size difference prompt, but the fact that Link is longer and Rhett is broader is canon had me thinking about the idea of Link taunting Rhett about being bigger... and Rhett proving to Link that he was plenty big. This gets rough. It's consensual but there are moments where it may feel like it isn't, so please take that into consideration before reading.

4 times they dance around the subject, and 1 time they don't.
It’s just a thing, now, something they do, another layer to their relationship that Link mentions to his wife when she asks about it, because it doesn’t happen just at work. It’s just part of everyone’s lives, Link is sure, because nobody says anything or reacts at all, and Rhett isn’t exactly bashful about it. He’s got a sneaking suspicion they all think it’s an ongoing joke or something, and Link is more than happy to let them think that. He doesn’t want that can of worms opening just yet.
