Summary
Bitter doesn't begin to describe how Eddie feels. Some days it's a swirling mess of depression and angst and other days he can't see past the red. Venom, as always, is there for him. And when Isla, an old acquaintance, moves in down the hall he hesitantly strikes up a new friendship. But each day that passes blurs the line between sanity and hatred, and Eddie doesn't know when or how it will stop. Isla doesn't seem to notice and she certainly has no reservations about forcing her way into his life. Then there's the whole Demon of San Francisco that is totally on board with trying to hunt actual, biblical demons. Figures.

This a dark!Eddie but not evil. Featuring extreme sexual tension, uncontrollable mood swings, a very crude alien parasite, and a conspiracy theorist hellbent on ghost hunting.

Summary
When Jane was invited to the compound, Darcy was not, but it didn't matter because Jane hadn't heard from her in more than a year.
Dealing with sudden poverty in Atlanta, Darcy doesn't have time to think of her fleeting brush with alphabet soup agencies. She is alone and she has to deal with that. Her solution is grimy, taxing, and manipulative but debt and addiction are worse than dark elves.
Darcy is a stringer. She lives in a hovel and sees things people shouldn't see. Darcy thinks this is it for her, until Jane finally remembers to pick up the phone. But you can never truly walk away from streets.
