Summary
“All of us, swanky house, right on the beach, great weather, lots of booze. What do you say?"
Graham was nothing if not persuasive: not only had he acquired a luxurious beachfront house in the Hamptons for two weeks in July, he’d managed to convince their boss to give him, Richard, and a handful of their closest work buddies two weeks off so they could go and enjoy the hell out of it.
It was supposed to be an exercise in learning how the other half lived, and pretending for a couple of short weeks that they were part of it – a task that was made even easier once they befriended their new neighbours, a bunch of trust fund kids that liked a good time and could afford to have it.
(Richard refused to let his enthusiasm be dampened by the fact that one of them was, without a doubt, the most obnoxious, egotistical, offensively flirtatious prick that he had ever met.)
What it wasn’t meant to be was the first in a series of idyllic summers that changed everything.

Summary
Lee had thought that returning to New Zealand for pickups would mark a giant step backwards for him and Richard, and had mentally prepared himself for another three months of sneaking around under the cover of darkness and keeping their relationship hidden from the rest of the cast and crew. Now that they were living together, acting like Richard was no more to him than a colleague would be even more difficult than it had been before; it would be his least favourite role to date, but one that he was willing to play for Richard’s sake.
He’d made it clear that how and when they told the cast was Richard’s call and Richard’s call alone – but as confident as Richard had seemed about doing so, Lee couldn’t shake the fear that his optimism would wither away as soon as his plane touched down, leaving them right back where they started.
As it turned out, though, he needn’t have worried at all.

Summary
When Richard pulled Lee’s name out of the hat for their workplace Secret Santa, he realised immediately that it should be treated as the greatest of blessings, rather than a curse.
Objectively speaking, finding a gift for Lee should have been an easy task – they were, after all, friends as well as colleagues. It just had to be something special, something personal, and ideally something that subtly conveyed the secret that Richard had been carrying around with him for nearly a year.
And therein lay the rub – because what gift would be good enough for the man with whom he was unequivocally and hopelessly in love?

Summary
Richard, a freelance writer living a solitary life in New York after his last relationship crashed and burned, couldn’t quite get himself into the holiday spirit. The thought of a shopping trip with his visiting sister and nephews a few days before Christmas didn’t exactly fill him with joy, either.
But a chance meeting at the mall may just bring some holiday cheer into his life after all – and teach him that sometimes, a little elf magic can make a big difference.

Summary
Lee had been wondering, for a while, exactly when and how he and Richard would start to tell people outside their families and immediate employ about their relationship.
Needless to say, he didn’t expect the first step to come about because of a trip to the dentist gone wrong.
And yet that was exactly how it happened.

Summary
[email protected]: Right, yes, ignore me. Remember that my mother is really sweet and proper and deserves all happiness even if her son is a twat.
[email protected]: Less so than I’d realized. I might have to join the lovelorn masses after this exchange, pretty boy. XOXOXO.
[email protected]: Who are you?
He didn’t get anything back, and he didn’t expect to, but he had to ask, all the same.
