Grappling with the death of his Master and the young boy he'd promised to raise, he didn't have much time to reflect on it. If he fought hard against the rising darkness, he could beat it back and only use the light. If he closed his eyes in front of the mirror, he didn't have to see their new yellow color. Like the one stating he never went for the same guy twice. Thomas was an exception to that rule, had always been, would have always been had things not ended the way they did.
