Lance smiles a little, softly, sweetly, and then lifts his hand to Keith’s jaw, his fingertips light, smiling up at Keith through his dark lashes. “Are you okay enough for this?” he asks.
Keith considers the question. “How am I supposed to know?”
"When you can say, “yes,” with great confidence, and mean it," Lance says, smiling, his eyes crinkling warmly.
“I don’t get it,” Keith says, softly, glancing at the blue crescents on Lance’s cheeks, "I don’t get how you’re so fine. You always seemed so fine.”
Lance searches Keith’s eyes for a moment. “I wasn’t. You just didn’t see that part.”

Summary
Bringing the biting electricity closer, he gave a huff of amusement, “That human that went back to his primitive planet?” That statement brought a pit of anger in Keith’s stomach, one that was next to his burn. “He’d be shot dead before he even finds this room.” He bit out.
Keith’s face tightened at those words, and he pressed his lips together powerlessly. The Galra thought that’d be it from him but then Keith muttered, “He’d burn down the universe before he let you get away with hurting me.” His eyes glanced at the hot electricity dancing near his cheek with a hardened expression, the pain in his stomach throbbing.
With a silent laugh, the solider started bringing it towards his cheek, “He’s going to have a lot to burn down after this...” And Keith braced himself with his fingers digging into the chair.

Keith gets kidnapped while on a BOM mission post-war but his badass now BOM husband comes to save him. Hurt Keith and protective Lance ensues; they're both madly in love.

Whatever. So maybe Keith had a little thing for Lance, sue him.

"What?" Keith chuckles, expecting this to be another one of Lance's stupid jokes.
"After everything, I mean." Lance suddenly sits up and looks over at Keith, his head right above him and looming shadow masking the growing blush across Keith's cheeks. "If this is all over and I try and try and still end up alone, will you marry me? Marry me so I won't be alone anymore."
