So, Megumi’s been enrolled in Jujutsu Tech.
Except, he’s worried. He can’t put a finger on why. Maybe it’s because he feels like Toji’s been holding it together for him and he’ll revert back to his old habits without Megumi to remind him. Maybe it’s because Toji won’t fall apart and it’s Megumi who will unravel like an abandoned shikigami. He scrubs a hand down his face and eyes his phone warily. What will Toji say if Megumi calls him? What will be the flimsy excuse Megumi spins out of air?
He imagines it: ‘Hey, Toji. Yeah, no, everything is fine. Gojo-sensei has a motor for a mouth but it’s fine. The seniors seem like an okay bunch. Um. Can I come back home? I don’t really need to learn more. Why? I’m worried you might disappear. I’m worried you’ll realize life is better without me. I’m worried money and women will tempt you and remind you that I’m just an obstacle in your way.’

The first time Satoru splays his palm on Yuji's toned stomach and growls, "Fuck, I wish I could get you pregnant," he's expecting a laugh or a "that's weird", maybe for Yuji to point out in that matter-of-fact way of his that Satoru's barking up the wrong tree there since Yuji cannot, in fact, get pregnant.
What he's not expecting is for Yuji to look up at him all doe-eyed and earnest and say, "Please don't, sensei, I'm not ready to have a baby."

i just don’t even know what to say. i haven’t dedicated myself to a long-form fanfic like this in a while. i started it, and loved the first 20k words, but wasn’t sure if i should continue due to the fact that i had an inordinate amount left to go. and then i read a little more and the choice was taken out of my hands. this fic ran me dry. i’ve been reading quick one-shots and simple plots for so long—the complexity of this fic was a shock to my system, ice water on my face. it was so utterly good. i marvel once again at the works of art we humans are able to produce. the characterizations in this fic were pure gold. so amazing and accurate and understandable. the cherry on top was the fact that the author is still publishing works till this day. what hope you have given me. what appreciation you have bestowed upon me. what /hurt/ i have felt. i ached for young Harry. i felt and felt and felt some more. i feel looney with awe. thank you.

After that, Harry wakes up screaming more nights than not, and he even cries on the bad ones, which makes James cry too. In this regard, James reckons that his first week of parenting a full-grown teenage adult bears an awful lot of resemblance to parenting a newborn baby. He feels both blessed and terrifyingly out of his depth.

ugh. love this fic so much (from what i've read so far - first 7 chapters). its very dark & izuku is very messed up but the writing is hilarious and i love the premise. i really like suffering main characters, its become a bit of a trend.. anyway. i want to finish this (and i will!) its just hard for me to commit to catching up on fics that haven't been updated in a few years. that's okay tho. still love it.

2/20. so this fic. this whole *series*. my favorite hall of fame-er. i love the first part of this series to death and beyond. its one of the best blends of humor and seriousness i've ever read. if i could pick one fanfic to read for the rest of my life, it would be this one. now this might look like some supreme over-praising, but its genuinely that good. i've read it three times now? and i might be due for a fourth. now, i haven't gotten far into the sequel at all, but that's mainly because i don't have much time to delve into a 200k word fanfic, and also because i'm waiting until i rewatch naruto. regardless, best fic ever.
