Rengoku fell in love with Tomioka, the water Hashira. He admires his stoic personality and how he can maintain such a calm aura. When he realized that Tomioka had no friends, he tried to befriend the water Hashira. Only a few days later, he realized that he wanted to be more than a friend to Tomioka.
Summary for this chapter:
He blinks two times. His whole face was wet now, and his hair was soaking with water. He stays quiet for a while, which makes me worry that he didn't like what I just did."I am truly sor-" He splashes me back, but with even more water. I finally register what just happened right before he splashes me again.
