Summary
Acquiring a feral child and his little brother was no simple matter, but Gaster had succeeded in that. The next step was by far the most daunting... Actually becoming a father in more than just legality.
It would help if the preteen stopped trying to do his own taxes, too.
—
“…What on earth are you doing, Sans?”“taxes. duh.”
“You… don’t have to do that.”
"uh, kinda do actually? dunno if anyone's told you, but it’s illegal not to. i made money this year, so i gotta report it.”
“You see nothing wrong with running an illegal casino, but tax evasion is where you draw the line???”

Summary
Adults lied. It was what they did.
They said they would take care of you, but they didn’t. They said they would be there, but then they died. Sans had gotten used to it.
But Papyrus shouldn't have to.
And if Sans had to take matters into his own hands in order to make sure he kept his promise to his little brother? Then so be it. It was Sans and Papyrus against the world, and some gangly skeleton with gentle sockets and a weird font wasn’t going to be the one to change that.
—
“Sans, wait—! Please, let’s just talk for a moment—!”
“no way, you creep! leave me alone!”
“Excuse me? I’m not a creep! I just wish to talk! You have many people very worried about you—”
“nah, you’re not excused. gimme 500 g and then i’ll consider it.”

Summary
The Angel perplexes Ralsei far more than he can handle. How could he understand them? One moment, they are hugging him. The next, they choose to fight for the first time without any prior warning. Between days, they grow more tired, like something weighs them down. Ralsei's only purpose is to serve them and the Lightners, so perhaps he just does not understand how the Angel can change so rapidly. He can never truly understand them, despite trying so hard to do so. Yet, part of him keeps wondering. Curiosity gnaws at him the more time he spends in the Angel's presence.
After a frustrating three days with the Angel, Ralsei cannot make heads or tails of their behavior. They confuse him, and he confuses them. Perhaps, Ralsei was not thinking straight when he took drastic measures. Maybe, he had been too weathered down by the previous day in the church to be able to think rationally. Against his better judgement, he calls for the Angel by name.
They answer, and Ralsei finally sees the Angel for what they are.

Summary
“Hm?” Emmet looked away from the screen, and even he could recognize that it took him far too long to stop seeing two Elesa’s standing across from him. “Hello, Elesa. You look frazzled. Is everything okay?”
“It’s…” She pursed her lips. “How long have you been awake?”
It wasn’t good to lie. However much he wanted to.
