She took a deep, shuddering breath in. One tear escaped its confines, rebelliously rolling down her cheek as if to taunt her. You can’t ignore me forever, it seemed to say to her. The hand reached up and gently swiped at it, easing it from its brief existence. Soaking into the hand, defiant almost. I’ll catch you, it translated to her mind. She looked at the hand, blinked, and they solidly came to form. Scars littered those hands, tiny nicks here and there that told of a life full of danger at every corner.Lucanis has hands like these.
She traces her thumb across one of the more prominent scars on the hand holding her left one, feeling the subtle bump where the tissue didn’t heal quite right. Like it was done in a rush by a boy who didn’t have time to slow down. Couldn’t. Wouldn’t.
It’s one of her favorite scars.

Mortified by the experience he can only find comfort in the fact he will never see this stranger ever again. That is until that man appears in class as a guest lecturer a couple days later.Michael Robinavitch is taking some time off, over the anniversary of his mentor's death. Feeling too cooped up inside his own home he decides to get in touch with some old friends at the University of Pittsburgh. He is invited as a guest lecturer when when he runs into a particular man who catches his attention.
After their encounter at the library, the two men keep running into each other. Seemingly tied by an invisible magnetic force.

When it runs out, if I’m not back on the right side, I’ll get stuck as nothing, forever.” Robby drops his face into his hand. “Why does this sound like The Little Mermaid?” he moans.
“Is this the kind of place where they throw a black bag over your head and smash your SIM card, or can I still talk to you?” Jack asks.

I mean, I got the shift change notification a little over a week ago. They gave me the last six days off to adjust my sleep schedule, and now I’m here…” His voice trailed off a bit as he stood and adjusted his scrubs, which looked to be slightly big on him.
“…that’s not gonna be a problem, is it? …Dr. Abbot?”
(aka the fic where Robby lends Jack his favorite intern for the night shift when it becomes obvious that Jack needs some stress relief...but it turns into something that Jack never expected)

After killing Cath Pope panics. He doesn't want to go back to Smurf, so he takes Lena and runs for it. Unwilling to stay in California he sets off for Pennsylvania to find his older half-brother who he hasn't seen since he was little. Of course nothing ever goes he hopes and he ends up bleeding in an alley. Luckily for him he is found by a very tired Dennis Whitaker who makes sure he doesn't die there. They get attached, and if we are being honest co-dependent, very quickly.
I'm obsessed with Popewhit so I'm writing this lmaoo
