Summary
Rhaenyra could feel Aegon’s rage radiating off of him like dragonfire. The violence of his bruising grip on her throat, threatening to suffocate the very breath from her lungs, to slowly make her lose consciousness. She brings her hands up to wrap around his wrists, as her eyes flutter open and shut, the dark violets pleading with him to stop.
His eyes gleam with a murderous malevolence she has never glimpsed before.“Aegon...P-please,” she chokes out, trying to appease him with an apology, desperate for him to hear her. “Forgive me. Brother.” She barely gasps out, starting to feel light-headed from the lack of oxygen to her brain.
