Mostly it was my attempt at a different prose, but I thought it was decent enough to post. I wrote this during math class. I almost failed that class and at the end of it, I gave him a copy of The Secret History.

Grounded for a week means grounded for the full week, no exceptions. Which in Jamie’s opinion is totally unfair. He’s almost done his full week anyway, Roy could totally let him off just one day early, what would that even hurt? Jamie’s learnt his lesson, won’t break his curfew or drinking ban again, swear down. Roy is just being an unfair arsehole! Especially when he leaves Jamie alone for the evening.
