Summary
When Stiles found out he might have the same troubles as his mom, he immediately threw himself into music. He'd never been any good with the playing part, but he decided to try again. He needed something to focus on, something that could take him away from the grim reality of his grim reality for a little while.
When his diagnosis came back clean, Stiles continued to play. Now it wasn't for healing. It was for celebration: to celebrate his health and to honor his mom. And, well, maybe a little bit for another reason.

Imagine what it would feel like to always have someone standing right behind you. Close enough to feel their electricity, maybe even the heat of their body. You'll catch a random glimpse of something out of the corner of your eye, but nothing more than a shadow, like some fucked up Peter Pan. You feel that presence all the time. It's usually so faint you can ignore it, but sometimes it's so overwhelming that it drowns you like a hot, wet blanket. Like what it must feel like to have someone breathing over your mouth and nose while you struggle, and all your screams get swallowed up by that maw.
That's what it feels like to get possessed by a demon, and that's what happens to Stiles in the dirty, dark parking lot outside of the loft.

Daniel can tell right away that something is deeply, unsettlingly wrong. And that’s when he realizes that Armand hasn’t moved his legs once in Daniel’s sight, which has been trained on him nearly the entire time. How long had it taken Louis to recover from his spinal injury?
“He had a lot more going on,” Armand wheezes. “But, to answer your question without consulting your abysmal recordings? Months.”
“Uh, they’re not so easily consulted at the moment,” Daniel says, trying to maintain his balance. It’s going to be a fucking miracle if he can get himself back on his feet, let alone haul a temporarily paralyzed Armand along with him. “I’m gonna let the head thing slide for the time being.”
“The head thing?”
“You. In mine.”
“How generous.”
“The way I see it,” Daniel says, “I’m your only ticket out of here if you’re in as bad a shape as I think you are. Tell me I’m wrong.”

Adam’s been working so hard for this for years. He and Blue have finally got their band signed to a major record label and they’ve just released their first album. He’s not going to let some asshole from some crappy alt-rock band ruin this for him.
The only good thing Ronan’s got going for him anymore is his band. The only time he feels alive anymore is when he’s got his guitar in his hands. He’s not done with the bad decisions yet though, and something about the newest signing to the label makes something in his gut tie itself in knots. It’s not a feeling he should pursue. He’s definitely going to.
Or, the rival bands AU no one asked for.
