Summary
"He knew this wouldn’t work, but he needed it to work this time. More than when he was in Nebraska, more than when he was homeless, because otherwise Trinity and his friends and Jack and Robby would know. They would find him in this cold, dark room and realize how weak he was."
Or the Biological!Bdsm au that's been plaguing me with visions.
(Formerly known as "BlueAngelBby passed their brainworms to me.)

Summary
There’s no real rationale to what Dennis asks next. His brain is overloaded with new information, which piles onto his already spiraling conundrum of attempting to explore his own sexuality. It causes a deadly concoction. The result?
“Can you kiss me?”
It’s blurted out with zero thought. An accumulation of I want to kiss a man that I trust and I trust Doctor Robby, followed by he has the experience, so he’ll know what to do.
The request shocks them both. Robby sits up straight, eyes widening and cheeks definitely flushing, Dennis is sure of it this time. He doubts he looks any better, slack-jawed and burning impossibly hot as his shoulders tighten up so high that he’s sure they’re reaching his ears.
OR
Dennis realizes he may not be straight after Amy kisses him. In an effort to find answers, he finds himself asking for Robby's help.

Summary
Dennis was the one who hurt, Whitaker was the one who lived. The two had to be separate, his past couldn't touch his present and the life he was making. No matter the hooks it cast.
When the past comes to take its pound of flesh from the present can Dennis and Whitaker remain separate. Or will the mask break and the pain only unhinge its jaw and devour him whole.

Summary
Dennis liked Robby so much. They were taking it slow, Dennis not being used to being in a relationship and Robby not wanting to spoil something so fresh and wonderful. Dennis wanted everything to be perfect when him and Robby finally... did it.
That's where he got a little nervous.
Because Dennis never actually came, not when he tried touching himself, not when he'd had sex in the past. And he certainly couldn't ask his *boyfriend* to make sure he at least had the anatomy to be able to cum. So he asked the next best option... someone he trusted as much... someone solid who would never hurt him or do anything wrong... someone who always cared. He asked Doctor Abbot.
And if it went farther than a professional pelvic exam... well Dennis knew what he was doing. Jack just wanted to make the poor thing feel good... Robby loved his special boy.
AKA lots of smut, including Dennis with Robby, and then LATER in the fic, Dennis with Robby and Jack <3 -

Summary
The payphone in the hallway rings and rings until it stops, like everything else in this place eventually does. Whitaker leans against the wall, scrubs stiff with dried sweat and something he doesn’t want to name, quarters heavy in his pocket. He could call home—hear his mom’s voice crackle over the line from Broken Bow, ask about the harvest, pretend the city hasn’t hollowed him out yet. But what would he say? I’m fine, Ma. Just saved a guy from bleeding out. Again. The words taste like ash. Hero. That’s what the nurses call him when he stays late, when he jumps into the next trauma bay without being asked. Hero. It used to make his chest swell. Now it just sits there, heavy as a lead apron.
