Sevika’s calloused hand stilled around a strand of Jinx’s long blue hair. She noted the familiar defensive quality in Jinx’s posture… the insecure edge to her voice as she pulled her knees to her chest. Sevika’s lips pressed together in a thin line as she thought.
The pair lapsed into a short silence. Eventually, Sevika settled upon a gentler albeit no less truthful response.
“I think,” she started carefully, “Silco was the best father he knew how to be.”

Summary
The first thing Technoblade noticed as he approached his apartment with his ratty crimson backpack slung over his shoulder and a newly checked-out book held in his right hand was the basket placed conspicuously outside his door. The second thing he noticed was the noises that sounded suspiciously like an infant’s coos coming from the cloth bundle tucked inside the wicker basket.
He couldn't help the horror from leaking into his voice as he muttered a prayer meant for his ears alone under his breath.
“Please tell me that is not a baby.”
Reluctantly, he leaned over, peeking inside the basket with bated breath, and his face dropped. In the middle of the basket lay a bundle of cloth wrapped around an infant with chubby cheeks and a wisp of hair atop its forehead.

It wasn’t a secret that Technoblade detested birthdays.
For an immortal that has lived centuries, birthdays quickly begin to resemble any other day, their importance diminishing with each passing year. For an immortal, time is not a constraint, simply a part of life that is easier to forget than it is to remember. Of course, it wasn’t the actual date that he held a grudge against, simply the obligation to treat it as more special than it actually was. There’s an obligation there to go all out once a year for something as meaningless as a marker of age and over the years his annoyance with the entire thing developed into a deeper set hatred of the concept as a whole.
____Or Technoblade hates birthdays but a surprise visit from Tommy might change that.

Techno let out a sigh of fond exasperation, leveling the boy with a deadpan expression. “Hello Tommy, what are you doing here?” He paused before quickly tacking on, “Does Phil know you’re here?”
Tommy let out a nervous chuckle and rubbed the back of his neck, a sheepish look on his face. “Aha about that…” Techno shot the boy a halfhearted glare and began pulling out his phone to text the kid’s father, which was met with loud protests. “Now now! No need to be so hasty! I have a question, and it’s very important!”
“What do you want, kid?”
“Teach me how to fight!”
____Or Tommy is getting bullied and goes to Techno for help in the form of martial arts lessons.

“We heard you guys say something about being low on food, you could come with us? We’ve got plenty of food back at our camp.” Sapnap scowled from behind his friend, eyeing the two strangers who looked equally distrustful of the situation. As if on cue, the younger boy’s stomach growled with almost comical convenience.
The two stared at each other for a few seconds, seeming to communicate wordlessly before the blonde teenager turned his attention on the trio once more. “I’m Tommy and this is my brother Techno. Now lead the way bitches!”
As they walked back to the camp Sapnap could only pray that this didn’t backfire on them.
____Or the Dream Team find a pair of survivors but something is off about them.

Summary
Coming to a decision, he steps closer, stooping down to wrap his arms around Jabber’s knees and lifting the raider in one swift motion, throwing him over his shoulder before he begins stalking off. Jabber makes a weird, indecipherable sound as he’s heaved upward, something that might have been an excited squeal.
“Whoa!” He yelps, flailing a bit as he tries to look at Zanka, despite the awkward positioning. “Where are you taking me, Zan-Zan?” He couldn’t sound more excited about this development if he tried, and the thought has Zanka snorting quietly to himself.
“Somewhere we can battle, obviously. I’m not fightin’ ya outside a’ cleaner HQ.”
“Why not? You afraid of havin’ a little audience? Or is it that you don’t want them to watch the way we fight?” The raider’s voice glides down Zanka’s spine, slow like syrup, and he says the word ‘fight’ as if it meant ‘fuck’, which promptly empties Zanka’s mind of nearly all its thoughts.
Or, five times Zanka picks up Jabber, and one time something comes of it.
