Summary
Cole and Geo were staying at the monastery with the ninja, after rescuing kai, and the whole tournament of elements thing. Cole is starting to realize how hard it might be to raise his family and be a ninja at the same time. The amount of danger he puts his kids and his boyfriend, Geo, in just being involved. But, he couldn't abandon his brothers.
Geo knows that the Finders couldn't stay at the monastery forever, he doesn't even know if they want too. It's a big shift going from only having his kids and boyfriend nearby to having the whole world. This would be good for their family, he just doesn't know if he's equipped to rejoin society.
So, I'm kinda procrastinating watching season 3 of Dragons Rising, just cause. So, I decided to write fanfic as i watch to motivate me... to sit down and watch TV.

Summary
Cole is taken in by the finders, nursed back to health, and given a real stable home for the first time in forever. He knows it's only temporary and he needs to stay focused on leaving and getting back to his real family, the ninja, but there's something about these new strangers, Geo in particular, that keeps him wanting to stay longer.
This is going to be a semi canon compliant fic about Cole being rescued by the finders and all the events that take place afterwards. It is a Geode shipping fic with a side of found family and a tiny mention of past Cole/Kai.

There hasn’t been a threat to the Merged Relms in nearly a year. In fact, the Merged Realms have been the most peaceful they’ve ever been. It left Cole with a lot of time to think. Does he really wanna be a ninja for the rest of his life? Maybe it’s time to finally settle down with his new family of Geo and the Finders. Maybe this is a new beginning.
