Worse than anything, was the smell. The whole of the Jingshi was soaked in sandalwood, it permeated everything and it was driving Wei Wuxian up the wall. Because the thing of it was, the smell was linked intrinsically to Lan Zhan and when they were alone together in the Jingshi when curfew fell was their every day time. Only Lan Zhan wasn’t here and the scent was doing things to him that he was struggling to control.Which is what had led him to his current predicament. He was lying on their bed, dressed in his sleeping robes and attempting to get some rest. But the bed felt empty with only him in it. There was no warm presence of Lan Zhan next to him. All of that was bad enough, but every time he tried to sleep the smell of sandalwood drifted up from the pillow and then all he could think about was Lan Zhan fucking him till he was exhausted and slept like a baby.
