    He could hardly believe Zevran stood before him now, almost three years later. Alistair rubbed his eyes with the heels of his palms, and blinked rapidly, but still Zevran remained. Zevran smiled wider, finding humour in Alistair’s disbelief.

    “Surprised to see me?” he asked, pushing Alistair’s plate of chips in front of him. “And here I thought you’d stopped by to visit me.”

    “Oh,” Alistair breathed. “No, I’m sorry, I’m- I’m here for someone else.” He gulped. “But it’s so good to see you."

    It's been years since Alistair saw Zevran last, and with their reunion comes the crushing realisation that Alistair is still in love with Zevran despite his best attempts to move on. As the evening goes on, the two find that they have a lot to talk about.

    In which Dorian is a special forces operative, Bull is his partner, and Cullen is the guy they're sent to rescue. Hijinks ensue.

    Written because I wanted a story where Dorian rescues Cullen from physical danger. Because I like rescue-fic, and mainly what I've seen is the other way around (Cullen rescuing Dorian).

    In the name of not leading people on...The E rating is for eventually (cf "slow burn" tag above): I'd say this is T rated until chapter 15, and it doesn't need the E rating until chapter 25. Just so's you know!

    ETA: ART!!! Because there are few things I like better than badass Dorian.
