Summary
Although I was matched with a writer and had a fic planned, my collaboration unfortunately didn't work out. Despite this, the lovely mods have allowed me to add this art to this year's collection.
I have always been fascinated with auroras and how they feel magical whenever they light up the sky with dancing colours. I was inspired by the worlds of His Dark Materials and Dune whilst making this piece, and I'd hoped for a fic in a similar vein. Alas, it didn't come to pass, but I'm still proud of this piece and how it turned out.
If this piece inspires any writers in any way, I would LOVE to see some interpretations. Although it wouldn't be included in this year's RBB collection, I'd be delighted if my art still found a home. In any case, I hope you all like this, and I'm so thankful to the OFMD RBB team for the opportunity to participate as an artist this year. 🌌❤️
