Summary
The hand he took that night was small, but so very warm. And the hug he was given in the carriage was reminiscent of how his sister would comfort him when the night was too dark. The child spoke of many promises to train him, to become his mentor, and to make him invincible. Stronger he will be, and he will find all of those who had dared take away everything he had ever known. Anger was an emotion that used to be foreign in his heart, but now it wraps around him like chains, digging into his skin and branding him so he may never forget his reason for existence.
He survived. Therefore, he must pay for it with his life.

Suddenly, those golden threads were blocked out by something, causing Mydeimos to open his eyes, only to be welcomed by the smile of a white-haired youth he had never seen before; yet, a sensation of melancholy was present within his being.
"Forgive me for interrupting your peaceful rest, but I am lost and I wondered if you could point me in the direction of the Castrum Kremnos colosseum."
The youth, whose blue eyes rivaled the purity of the waters of sacred springs, spoke with sweetness and politeness, in a slow and calm manner, maintaining a serene expression on his face.
"How has someone looking for the colosseum ended up in this forest on the outskirts of the city?"
Mydei questioned, not understanding how anyone, no matter how far they came from, could lose sight of a city as large as Castrum Kremnos.
"I come from a remote village, and you could say my sense of direction has never been the best; I apologize for the inconvenience caused."
The prince still could not understand why, but that individual caused him so much curiosity, something unusual for him.
"Remote village? What is its name?"
"Aedes Elysiae."
