Just so that everything's perfectly clear, Chloe would like to make it known that she is absolutely NOT doing this because of any hidden motivation to be a 'better person'. Even the implication that she might be anything less than 1000% content with how she is is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous.
That being said, when Sabrina asks her if she could try being a little nicer, just to their classmates at first so she can see how she finds it, Chloe reluctantly promises to try.
Though she probably wouldn't have agreed had she known it would result in her playing matchmaker for half the class.OR

Embarrassing as it was for him to admit, before Hiori, Rin had never really had a friend before–not one that counted–and so he occasionally found himself wondering what actually constituted ‘normal friend behaviour’.
Up until now, he’d simply accepted the soft way Hiori smiled at him and the way he gently bumped their shoulders together or purposely brushed his hand against Rin’s as standard shows of affection–possibly because he had no idea what casual affection was supposed to look like.
But recently Rin had started to wonder whether it was possible Hiori’s definition of friendship differed slightly from the standard.
OR
The U-20 match is over, Blue Lock is on a break, and Hiori comes to stay at a delighted Rin's house out of nowhere--except Rin's lack of experience (with friendship) immediately presents itself as a problem as Hiori's unexpected inclination for casual affection makes itself apparent and also simultaneously kicks Rin's ass.

Summary
When Riyo had found out that Zanka had a boyfriend, she'd done her best to be supportive.
She just didn't expect the guy to end up being Jabber fucking Wonger.
At least she wasn't the only one caught off guard. After some negotiations, Zanka is grounded, forbidden from seeing Jabber for a whole month. Which goes about as well as one would expect it too. Meaning that it'd failed horribly.
But that was the least of Riyo's worries. Really, her main concern was figuring out how to handle this whole thing- what she was supposed to do, how she was supposed to react, she had nothing. She was missing way too much information, and it was really starting to bug her. For one, she has no idea what Jabber's actual intentions are with all this. And how could she know, when there seemed to be such a big gap between the Jabber she knew of and the one that Zanka apparently knew?
So when Jabber randomly shows up at her window, asking for advice, Riyo sees it for the golden opportunity that it is.
She'd get her information, keeping her guard up the whole time, and be right back where she wanted to be. Easy.
(Spoiler Alert: It ends up being a bit more complicated than that.)

Summary
Zanka knew that carrying out a relationship with a Raider as a Cleaner would be complicated. He knew he'd have to be careful. More than careful. He'd have to be perfect- no matter what, no one could find out about the truth. Not when he knew what the consequences would be.
Naturally, he slips up anyways, accidentally mentioning Jabber's name at HQ, and it’s all over.
Except its not. Because there's good news and bad news.
The good news was that Zanka hadn't actually said Jabber's name. Instead, he'd said a nickname. A nickname that nobody knew referred to Jabber.
The bad news was that now all the Cleaners thought that Zanka had a girlfriend named Abby, and if he wanted to keep his job, his family, and his relationship with Jabber, he was going to have to keep up the charade.
What could go wrong?
