New York City firefighter, Ed Teach, responds to a call one night and walks into a nightmare.

“Smoke’s too thick—gotta vent floor four,” Ed’s shoulder squawks.
Fuuuuck.
“Negative—disregard. Floor three isn’t stable. Repeat: do not vent!” Ed shouts into his receiver.
Crackling static comes back to him and a thick wave of smoke rolls down to surround Ed. The guys on the ground can’t fucking hear him and they’re both going to fucking die now. Fuck!

Summary
It’s 1918 and the final days of the First World War are winding down. In London, invalided soldier Stede Bonnet has become a searcher for the Red Cross Wounded and Missing Enquiry Bureau, interviewing injured men to try to piece together the fate of their missing-in-action comrades.
Today, he’s been handed the case file for missing Private Lucius Spriggs, and this investigation is personal. Not only is Lucius a friend, but Stede has to interview Lucius’ commanding officer Major Edward Teach, currently in hospital with a leg wound. And the last time Stede saw Ed, he broke his heart.
Talking to Ed is the last thing Stede wants to do. It’s the only thing he wants to do.
One way or another, they’ll all be getting the answers they seek.

Stede stares at him from between Ed’s hands. His eyes are still just as warm and familiar and living as they’ve always been. He blinks; he seems okay; he’s alive. Or—

Summary
In a world where alphas are second-rate citizens, Ed Teach, a more or less retired omega lives alone in a cozy house that is all his own. He hasn’t dated in years, not since he got out of an abusive relationship with his ex, Jack. He has some health issues that keep cropping up and he knows he will eventually have to deal with them, even if it means getting an alpha.
One day, while checking the classifieds for parts for his boat, Ed finds an ad about an alpha for sale. On a whim, he calls and finds himself with an alpha of his own in the next three hours. Stede is not what he was expecting, but there’s something about the sweet, most likely traumatized alpha that makes Ed want to keep him, even if it’s just to make sure he’s finally taken care of.
Let’s be real, they’re gonna fall in love and heal each other, and be all the better for it. ❤️

Summary
Notorious outlaw Blackbeard has had enough of the grind. He's ready to break away from the life and start anew, somewhere far enough that the law and the noose won't reach him.
Stede Bonnet is an omega sheriff with everything to prove. He's sick of being typecast as a helpless omega and doubles down on his search to bring hooligans to justice.
After a shoot out with the annoying Badminton twins, Stede is injured and left for dead. Who would happen upon him but the dread outlaw Blackbeard who can't seem to focus on anything other than Stede being an omega-- an omega who sees him for more than what everyone else sees him as: a monster.
Even when he’s the monster who shows up six years too late after Stede’s been forced into an abusive marriage.
Their story isn't without it's challenges, in fact, it seems there is nothing but challenges for the two of them to make their way to each other, but if there's a chance they might make it, well, they're going to try.
