Summary
She saw the panic in her eyes and made a split-second decision that would undoubtedly change her life. "I volunteer!" The square was quiet then, the disgruntled murmurs halted. "I volunteer as tribute!" she shouted and for the first time in her entire eighteen years of life all eyes were on her, Jaydah Mellark, as she stood in the pathway before the Peacekeepers ready to remove her from the square.
In another world, Katniss Everdeen might have volunteered for young Primrose, but the baker's daughter beat her to it. Jaydah might have stood a chance against the other tributes, too, had her brother's name not been drawn and all reservations for her own life were thrown out the window.

Summary
Shepard has never formed a relationship or a bond with anyone before. She grew up an orphan on the streets, joining the Alliance on her 18th birthday. She was the sole survivor of her unit that was sent to Akuze. She built herself up to be a strong soldier. When she awakens on the Normandy after coming in contact with the Prothean Beacon on Eden Prime, she feels a different kind of grief she's not familiar with. The loss of Corporal Jenkins is hitting her different, and she can't figure out why.

Summary
In the aftermath of the war, the crew of the Normandy struggle to comprehend the loss of their commanding officer. Major Kaidan Alenko is thrust into a role he is not ready for, and he has to do it while mourning the woman he loves.
Fast forward six weeks, Commander Faith Shepard is found alive but drastically changed, with significant memory loss that erases her recollection of the Reapers and other critical events. There's no logical explanation for her survival, hinting at something more sinister.
The crew have to come to terms that Shepard is alive, but doesn't remember their shared history.
Pairing is Shenko, with a little diversion here and there. They're my ♥ what can I say? I just love tormenting them.
This Main Trilogy is Now Complete.
