A fallen Bhaalspawn attempts to find himself, perhaps save the world, with a group of other leashed people and a vampire who knows more than he lets on.
Notes:This is technically a continuation of my prequel series Unsaved, but it can be read without it, if you want to go in blind! The only thing that you need to know is that Strike (my Durge) and Astarion met twenty years before the bg3 events, and were really good friends for a while.

Chapter TextWith a wet splat, the last rakghoul’s body fell in pieces to the floor of the abandoned field hospital. Lightsabers still humming in a combat stance, Ajis reached out with the Force and scanned the immediate area for threats. Nothing. They had eliminated all the rakghouls on this floor, at least.
She closed her lightsabers down and reattached them to her belt, turning to Quinn. “That's all of them. For now.”

The truth of the matter is that I’m not much of a Thrawn fan. evilmouse prompted me to write the first Triumvirate story, and I wrote it for her and JediMordSith. It was fun to write, and I got so involved with the worldbuilding and character dynamics that I just kept going. And going and going. But my primary interest remains in Luke/Mara, and I sometimes feel like I neglect Thrawn. I think it's important to consider every angle of a polycule, and I don't think that I give Thrawn enough attention. These character studies aren’t going to balance out the many, many, many words I’ve devoted to Mara and Luke’s pov, but they at least allow us a little insight into his perspective.
