“You were murmuring.” There’s a pause, and the implication is self-evident. Nevertheless, he turns to look again, asks it directly. “What was it of?”
Or - a scene of the Toymaker, without his powers, being under the watch of the Doctor. Unfortunately for the Doctor, this means living with the Toymaker.

Summary
The Toymaker captured the Doctor. He won the game; it was only fair. Now with his intentions clear, the Doctor tries every day to form more of his plan to escape. Except, there's one thing: The Toymaker, apparently, never learned what it means to be a captor.
With only the promise of being by his side forever, the Doctor can’t pin the Toymaker’s method down. And when did things become so domestic?
Forever is, after all, a long time.

Summary
The Fourteenth Doctor doesn't know if he can regenerate any more, after his bi-generation. So when he is by all appearances killed by an alien foe’s trickery, the Toymaker reacts.
It doesn't always bode well when you take away the one thing a god holds dear.

[ABANDONED WORK] Road Trip by YellowBelliedToad for Charleston_dancing

Summary
This work is, unfortunately, abandoned. Here, I have uploaded the full fragmentary form I had it in last.
The Doctor is lost. “Stranded,” is a term that fits his situation better. The TARDIS has been stolen, his sonic screwdriver is gone, and someone is erasing him from earth’s history. Not knowing where to go, he gains the help of the being he last wanted to see: the Celestial Toymaker.
Cue the worst road trip in all of space-time.

The Doctor, forced into a position of necessity, goes to confront the Toymaker. It is not what he anticipated.
(Not explicitly romantic, but hinted.)

A little writing exercise that I’ve been doing. Detailing Samuel Johnson, Francis Barber, and the development of what it means to be family.
I saw the “Five Things, One Thing” genre of post, and thought that it would be fitting for this story. Enjoy!
