Summary
Aaron just needed some wiggling room.
He didn't think he was asking for that much - a few inches of freedom, a miniscule amount of life outside of school and exy, an ounce of control over his day. Well, thruth be told, he wasn't exactly asking asking. Questions like that resulted in a knife under his neck and an unyielding 'no'.
But Aaron needed some goddamn wiggling room, and he was desperate enough to ask Josten for help.

Summary
There’s a car pulled over on the side of the road. Halfway between where Neil and Jean stand and the court. Neil comes to a stop next to Jean, grabbing at Jean’s arm to keep him still at Neil’s side. He’s unnaturally still, like a rabbit catching the scent of a predator on the air.
The car door opens, and a man steps out. A gun glints in his hand.
“Hey, Junior!” He calls, and lifts the gun in their direction. Jean freezes. Neil does not.

OR, Jeremy and Jean decide to visit the Foxes as the Moreau's trial grows closer. It predictably does not go as planned.

Summary
Andrew shakes his head and takes a drag. “So, you don’t plan on using gay panic as a defense tomorrow.”
The world tilts a little on its axis as he takes a step back, like that will lessen the sting.
“Fuck you,” Aaron breathes. “Fuck you, Andrew, you know that’s not what I meant.”
“Isn’t it? We both know you don’t exactly support me sucking dick.”Or: the night before his trial, Aaron talks to Andrew.

Summary
He raises his hand again when Andrew looks at him, and Andrew holds out his arms in invitation; he's already wet and fucking freezing, no more or less water is going to change that at this point.
"Go on, splash me again," he says. "But you're getting off this damn beach, because I am not dealing with Kevin's attitude tomorrow if Wymack finds your dead, capsicle body here. You can die elsewhere for all I care, just don't make it my problem by doing it in the restaurant’s view."
Andrew's familiar routine of closing up for the night is disrupted by something bloody and injured washing up from the depths.
