“You must be the new student, classes started yesterday but you’ll be fine,” the exorcist smiled. It was a weak smile. She stepped closer, he was young he couldn’t be older than her. More importantly he didn’t smell right…
“Yeah, transferred here and whatnot.” She stretched her arms. “I hope you were told of my circumstances…” He shook his head.
“You’re not on the roster either.” He looked down at his clipboard. “Would you mind introducing yourself?”
“I do actually.” He didn’t look amused. She sighed. “I guess you need my name huh? I’m Viviana Ricci, you can call me Vivi, or whatever’s easiest. I know it’s a hard name to pronounce for you. Uh… Oh! I’m an exchange student from Rome. I hope we can all get along.” She smiled, though stale, she made a statement. Turning back to the exorcist she whispered, “I can already see demons by the way.”
“I see, then go sit next to Rin.” He pointed to an empty seat next to a pretty boy. Settling into the seat she noticed the smell was coming off of him as well. Did they live with the principal? The scent was so similar.
“So, what’s your name?”
