Summary
You see, forcibly having your entire consciousness placed into a digital construct composed of coding far beyond your knowledge left your brain to reconstruct itself the best it could. Sensations varied from how they had in the real world, food tasted uncanny and some textures didn't quite feel like how they did in memories. It was almost like being in a dream.
Caine's censorship program could only accomplish so much given the fact that he physically couldn't manipulate the human mind. This, naturally, left many emotions and feelings bundled and reconfigured in ways one would not expect nor notice until they took it in their own hands.
Or if something else triggered it.
