Summary
Nightmare didn’t pay Killer to be nosy, but then again Nightmare didn’t pay Killer at all.
Besides, Killer never really knew when to quit. After a nasty fight with Cross, Killer gets lost in his frustrations and ends up in a part of Nightmare’s castle he’s never been to before.
The deeper he goes the colder it gets, and the darker it gets. The light he finds at the end of this tunnel seems more like someone's prison than a way out.

Summary
Life had been... good...? Dust hesitated to call it that, because whenever something was good, it'd inevitably go terribly, awfully bad.
And it did. Horror had gone missing one day, without a word and without a trace, leaving Dust all alone.
Until, of course, he found him in a random AU, content and... living his best life. He felt indignant, abandoned for another version of them that wore a fucking sunhat, for crying out loud! “My name is…” Nightmare started. The goop-covered skeleton made a gesture for him to continue, and he realized that he was to finish with his own name.
“Nightmare,” he murmured, trying not to sound too defeated. “My name is Nightmare.”
“Lovely name,” King commented. “But from here on out, you will no longer be the same person you once were. ‘Nightmare’ was someone who had naught to defend himself, neither tools nor allies. What is your name?”Nightmare answers a call of immense despair and finds his younger self, uncorrupted and with no place to go.

Summary
A great source of despair draws Nightmare to an abandoned AU. There he finds an unfinished Sans with no name, no companions, no purpose, no world, and a soul. Nightmare gives him the option to get out of his abandoned, empty world. He accepts the offer but refuses to destroy anything or hurt people. Instead he finds another purpose. In return the Bad Sanses give him a home, companions, a life, and a name. They call him Ink.
Or: Before he can destroy his soul and enter the Doodle Sphere, Ink is recruited by Nightmare. He accepts his role as best he can, even if he sometimes feels like he is meant for something more.
