It all started when Zayne started to live with them because for some reason, the said doctor was being targeted by a bunch of mafia’s leaders. Now he lives with them until everthing is taken care of.
Sylus remembered the first week after Zayne agreed to stay at their place, they just exchanged pleasantries, good morning and good evening. He thought that Zayne’s coming to their place will not change anything, but then he finds himself in a surprise.

But whatever Sylus had, whatever spark he ignited in Rafayel, seemed to be a more compelling vice and Rafayel could feel his resolve withering away.

For those quiet moments just before the sun disappeared below the horizon, the glass skyscrapers reflected iridescent beams for miles around. It was a beautiful sight that Maya might have enjoyed more on another day. She heaved a sigh as she exited the Unicorn Base. Stretching her arms above her head, she felt something give a satisfying pop in her shoulders. It had been a long week of hunts and nonstop reports that she was glad to be done with. The stress of the week was a palpable sensation weighing on her. Her eyes felt dry from pouring over documents with less than enough sleep. She couldn’t wait to head home to crash in a pile of plushies.
