Summary

Summary
The only thing more embarrassing than asking his son and God, Jack, to help him to save a despicable demon from the Empty was asking that same son permission to fulfill a marriage vow with a djinn queen. Castiel, Archangel of Jack, fought to contain his nervous gnawing to the inside of his grace-formed mouth as the young God’s brow furrowed and he asked, “You married a djinn? When did you marry a djinn, Cas?”
A canon compliant exploration of how Castiel honors his promises to various characters (especially the djinn queen he's married to) once Jack raises him from the Empty and before Dean goes to Heaven. Reading the chapter 'Various & Sundry Ingredients' of my big fic 'Through the Eyes of a Part-time Angel' will give you extra context, but this can totally be read as a stand-alone fic.

Summary
Cas opens his mouth to speak as soon as he watches the younger Winchester hold the kitten up towards his face to look at it up-close, immediately warning, “Sam, wait, that's—”
“Ow!” Sam startles, pulling the kitten away from his face right as Cas sighs out the word, “—Dean,” to finish his sentence.
“He scratched me!” the younger accuses in shock, lifting his free hand to hold overtop the small scratch on his cheek.
(TLDR: Dean gets cursed into a kitten for 24 hours. He's obviously not the happiest about it...but it does give the typically guarded, gruff man an excuse to finally be as affectionate as he pleases. Chaos and fluffiness ensue.)
