Izuku was a merman working at Starbucks, a green-haired merman working at Starbucks. Not that anyone knew that, of course, but the irony was not lost on him. He was just here to spend some time living among humans to learn their ways, and, honestly, get a break after fighting a war below the surface.
Well, it was a break until Bakugou Katsuki walked through the door, making Izuku want to run away to the depths of the ocean, anything to avoid facing the boy he had left behind several years ago without a word. Now Kacchan was a professional open swimmer, back in town preparing for the upcoming competition, and he wasn't going to leave Izuku alone, not as long as the nerd was working in the local Starbucks.

However, as soon as Harald directly interacted with his son, he would become awfully bashful and retreat to his room after only exchanging a few words with him."
