    Summary

He let his hand go slack and blinked when Illuga still didn’t let go. “Okay,” he whispered, remembering that he could speak.

Illuga shook his hand lightly. “You’re a good person, Lohen. I’m sorry that I’m prying so much, but you seem like you need to hear it.”

I do? Maybe if you say so, I do need to hear it. Varka had said it many times, but it simply tasted sweeter when the words rolled off Illuga’s tongue. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry that you’re feeling so much for someone like me.

Or: the events preceding the Traveller's arrival in Nod Krai.

    Summary

If you ask Illuga how he got himself into this situation, he also doesn’t know.

He has no recollection of how he came into possession of a haunted dagger, nor does he know why the ghost knight came with it has somehow become his responsibility.

The knight, introduced himself as Lohen with the grace of another time, isn’t of much help. Despite not even remembering why he was sealed off, Lohen wants Illuga’s help setting him free.

Illuga could throw away the dagger and return to his peaceful, ghost free life. Yet, the more he learns about the knight from centuries ago, the harder walking away becomes.

So for three months, this has been Illuga’s life: work, home, argue with an ancient ghost knight, research on the past that modern historians insist are myth, sleep badly, repeat.

Until they finally find their first real lead…

    Summary

The sensation of bare skin caressing the steel frame of his lantern - of him - sent a violent shiver through Flins, who felt it as if Varka was sliding his hands along Flins' naked chest up to his shoulders. Flins' shiver was visible as a spasm in the fire, a little earthquake of emotions that couldn't pass unnoticed.

"The light source is sensitive to touch?" Varka mused in a low voice, so close to the truth and yet so far away from it. "Impressive. And the body is sturdy, but slim. Just like its owner."

Shouldn't you know that it's because we are one and the same? , Flins lamented quietly.

Or: Varka stumbled over Flins' lantern and indulged his curiosity. Little did he know what his touch would do to Flins.

    Consequences follow.

    Summary

"I'm too big to be an omega.” Varka all but forced it out of his own mouth, “If you can't tell, that is, omegas need to be small and delicate and nowhere near the ruins of war or if that's not common enough, alphas don't prefer hideous ones like me. I don't even look like one and I have no aspects of them.”

“But you have the perfect nursing resources for it.” Flins frowned deeper, “I don't understand.”

    “Nursing resources?”

    “Your chest.” Flins preened happily.

Varka felt himself flush hotly, his lips falling open as he cleared his throat and covered his chest in embarrassment, “My chest?”

“It's very large, perfect for nursing your pups or even your alpha if you're into that.” Flins states rather too normally, ogling at Varka's chest shamelessly.

    or where,

varka had long accepted the fact that no alpha would want an omega as big and burly as him and he was actually fine with that fact until a sudden snowstorm sweeps him off his feet and makes him forget to take his suppressants, he ends up nesting all alone in the middle of nowhere with his heat clawing at him,

that is until a certain fae decides he really doesn't have to spend it alone.

    Summary

“I want you to treat me as free use,” Lohen said casually like this was normal pillow talk.

“...How is that any different from what we already are?”

Very reasonable question, considering how they already and very frequently jumped each other whenever and wherever they felt like it.

Lohen had pouted, “Ugh, get creative! You could use me when I can’t fight back… maybe when I’m unconscious."

    Hm. Well, this counted, right?
