Hanta had gotten used to being the background character in all of his friend's stories. He'd chime in a few jokes and go about his business, never being in the spotlight. Being plain was just like that, there was nothing he could do about it.
Until he was quirked by a bystander and was suddenly able to hear the thoughts of those around him, but only when those thoughts were about him. Flustered by the sudden bombardment of thirst comments whispered directly into his brain, he flew home in hopes of finding the one person whose thoughts meant the most to him.
