A mysterious writing teleports a group led by Casteel and including Eloana, Ian, Kieran, Jasper, Nektas, Nyktos, Penellaphe, Valyn and Vikter into a room. After Casteel reads a letter revealing it to be a gift to change destiny, they introduce themselves and agree not to attack each other. Valyn is the king, Eloana the queen, Penellaphe speaks without the title of duchess, and others introduce themselves. Nyktos, the god, dazzles the room.
