    “Would you come with me?” Simon asks quietly.

    “Where?”

    “Back out to sea.”

    A sharp needle of pain zips up Johnny’s earlobe at his words. He winces, features pinching, but he doesn’t wrench himself away like he would have done before. Johnny lets Simon hold him, leans into the familiar chill of his fingers, hoping it’ll chase away the throbbing pain.

    Johnny laughs through it. “I doubt yer captain would be all that welcomin’ of a siren aboard his Jolly Roger.”

    The crease between Simon’s brows smooths out. “But if he was?”

    Johnny smiles sadly, watching the way Simon’s eyes glint with that pirate greed. That hunger.

    Simon is a fool. A sweet, kindhearted, gentle fool of a man and a shitty excuse for a pirate. The thought makes Johnny’s heart clench painfully in his chest.

    “Aye,” Johnny says, meeting Simon’s eyes. “I would.”

     

    OR: The countless times Johnny unknowingly aids a pirate captain, and one time he saves him.

    He wants Hunter back, but it’s not that easy, it’ll never be that easy. Hunter isn’t his anymore, and he’s not Hunter’s, no matter how much a part of him feels as though he just betrayed Hunter by kissing Mayday.

    Yet he wants to do it again. He wants to take Mayday up on his offer. He wants to go to the barracks or the ‘fresher or just somewhere private where they’ll be alone and he can drown himself in everything that Mayday offered to him back on Barton IV.

    Their world is divided into the strong and the weak. Alpha and omega couldn't be more different. One gender protects and leads, the other nurses and shelters. They can't do without each other, bound by their distinctive nature.

    Narrow-minded, the strong rival amongst themselves and love to see others fall and claim the top for themselves.
    And an omega amidst alphas has no other chance than to lose, right? It's better to pretend that omegas are weak than to acknowledge that it only takes one to startle fear.
    Beneath all lurks danger. A shark without a fin is weak at first glance. However, what most don't consider lies within the threat they don't even see approaching.

    As secrets are revealed and lifes are changed, alpha and omega meet and can't help but point out the gaps between them. Yet the opposite attracts; nobody stands a chance against the instincts that were once necessary for survival but are no longer relevant in modern society, leading to the question of whether true love even exists.
    And after many hardships, Ghost and König discover that their desperate and pathetic natures are only the surface of their deep, lingering desires.

    Fives died in the chip conspiracy. So Echo wakes up after the Techno Union missing half his body and his partner.

    At least until he realises he can see and speak to ghosts!

    To find the evidence to reveal the chip conspiracy once and for all, Echo must team up with the Bad Batch. But he doesn't expect to find love, or a new place for himself along the way.

    This is my submission for Clone Bang 2023- a fic I've been working on for months now, and I'm sooo excited to finally be posting it along with some incredible art from my team-mate Duck. New chapters will be posted every couple of days.
