Summary
Pyro paces back and forth along the beach, his arms wrapping around himself as he tries not to panic. A shiver runs through him, his soaked clothes sticking uncomfortably to his skin.
The crew hadn't left him with anything other than what he had on, and this island they abandoned him on is out of the way enough from any common sea-lanes that it would be ages before another ship would pass by, if any did at all.
It's more likely for Pyro to starve to death waiting for someone to come to his rescue.

He and Abolish find themselves growing closer to their roommate Shelby, but what will the town do when they find out there are vampires amongst them? And how will this new, strange family unit face the strange challenges coming their way?
Basically I thought Scott and Abolish are totally girl dads and we all needed to have baby bat Shelby. The first chapter is a VERY short prologue/pilot I guess? The rest will hopefully be longer!

William could not describe the way their apartment smelled. It wasn’t bad, definitely leagues above what he figured most people would assume three young guys living together smelled like. It was familiar in a way that sat deep in him. Their detergent, something that had burned on the burner when Dakota turned it on initially, Vyncent’s sword oil that Tide had gotten him, the vaguest hint of grease from the pizza boxes by the trash can waiting to be taken out.
“-and we totally worked together to stop the guy! It was sick! I didn’t even know the dude and he was- Woah. Will, buddy, you alright?” Dakota had grabbed the pot and turned to the sink to drain it which allowed him to fully turn and face William over the counter.
The irritation was back in a second. William’s mouth was dry.
“I’m just tired, long night. Can you just- fuck off for a bit. Please.” He felt like he was going to hit something. He tried not to think about his bone breaking under the weight of a wall. He did not think about watching the bone splinter out and no blood follow. He didn’t think about it. It was fine.

Scott takes hold of his hand, both of his enclosing around the tan skin. "You can’t push everyone away and expect nothing to happen." He cuts Pyro off the second he sees the man try to butt in. "If you turn away from everyone who ever tries to care about you, you’ll end up dead." He'll forever deny the way his voice wavers over the word. He keeps his voice steady. "And no one will notice. They won’t care."
"Maybe I want that." Pyro sneers.
