Chapter 29: This is a FANTASTIC read. The unquestionable loyalty between Rouge and Shadow is great, the build up between Sonic and Shadow doesn’t feel at all rushed, and his relationships with the rest of the cast are just as good and balanced as the romance. The interactions of all the characters with each other both entertains and imparts so much background and nuance to the setting and the story.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed partaking in this treasure. -

Read the first work, and the sequel is phenomenal as well! This felt like a very comfortable continuation of the previous story, but this time, Sonic gets to deal with the joys of pregnancy too! It’s very heartwarming seeing Shadow be cared for and doted on by his friends and his partner.
Chapter 5: Author, you fucking got me for a minute there. I actually almost shed a singular masculine tear. That was evil. And sooo good. I’m glad the plot armor kids came in clutch. I hope Sage(?) can come around, and it’s too bad Metal Sonic couldn’t let go of Robonik’s death. Even though it’s understandable why he didn’t, it’s sad to see him swear vengeance for someone who only saw him as a tool.

If you were to tell Sonic this was how his day would end, he never would have believed you… probably would have laughed and thrown out a “Yeah, sure, bud.”
But here he is — lying down with a clinging hoglet wearing his chili dog t-shirt, pressed to his chest, letting out soft snores and purrs.
It’s insane… One moment he’s carefree, scoping out an abandoned G.U.N. base with Grouchy Shadow — the next, he’s a dad to a lab-made hoglet using his and Shadow’s DNA of all people? Yeah. Crazy day.
Looking back on it, and how much it’ll change him and everyone around him, he can’t say he regrets his decision that night.
But right now, he doesn’t know that yet. All he can think is: “What am I supposed to do now?” as he pulls the blanket over the two of them for bed.

Or: A Sonadow fanchild AU I came up with because I really wanted to write a slow burn with a LOT of fluff. It might start out angsty (especially with Shadow the Dumbass — but he’ll come around), but trust me, it’s mostly just found family fluff and Sonic learning how to be the best dad possible with help from his friends.
Granted, with lots of bumps along the way.

Chapter 19: Almost done! Great story so far. I thought Infinite was supposed to look scary as shit, so I was confused why people cared about a fated love story when the guy looks like a fucking demon. At least Shadow could pass as just an edgy guy (despite being half-Chaos demon himself).
Hope the omega law gets changed too, because that shit is annoying as fuck. Turbo sexism moment. I know it’s a plot device but I can’t help but feel the rage, lmao. Definitely feel for every omega character in this story.
Chapter 21: Reading this after finished a story where Eggman was sickeningly evil, and seeing this variant of him be sympathetic and kind towards Sonic’s situation, as well as cheeky was jarring. Very cool though. I love my sassy, silly guy.
Contempt of court is never great, but for a law that deprives people of their rights, I can’t be convinced to give a fuck. Burn their houses down.

Chapter 34: DAMN. DAMN. Tbh I’d also lose my shit with self-hatred if I found out I had sexually harassed the person I had a crush on because I was drugged.
Also, astonishing that Sonic took so long to tell Amy off, though as much as the guy gabs, it makes sense that he’d be non-confrontational, especially toward people he’s grown up with. Though I appreciate that he responds to serious situations in a way the really highlights the undoubtedly significant amount of trauma he’s accrued over a lifetime of literally being on the run. It may be canonic that Sonic is nomadic in nature, but anyone would be when your nature is shaped by constantly needing to preserve your own life.
Amazing story so far! I don’t know much about Sonic the Hedgehog, but after watching Sonic 3 (for Keannu Reeves, I’ll be completely honest), I figured I would peruse the fanfiction scene a bit and see what its fandom cooks up. And it’s been great!

Read the first series and really enjoyed it! I really feel it stayed pretty close to the characterizations of the movie, although Sonic is a painfully spoiled brat a few degrees more than expected, but certainly not out of character. But damn. Makes me wanna slap that kid sometimes. Hilarious how they both bumble socially and in eeuuuurgh such painful ways to read.
Chapter 3: Very cute so far! Absolutely no way the fishing trip can go wrong, obviously.

This is annoying for several reasons, like the fact that the War is still ongoing, that he has zero friends, and that Ozai is not in jail.

Chapter 17: This chapter Hurt. 7/10
Chapter 23: Glad they made up! Honestly, story could comfortably end here. I’m satisfied with it.Only major criticisms are syntax-related. A new paragraph should be made whenever: a person starts speaking and again when a different person starts speaking; when a new subject is broached in the paragraph (such as a setting or idea); or when time changes.
Rather than huge blocks of text, the story would benefit greatly in terms of readability if it was visually expanded. Writing isn’t just about the words you have, but also how they’re presented, much like high quality culinary dishes!
Otherwise, quite good, quite adorable story. The koopa kids and Luigi together are so goddamn good. At this point, I’m not even here for the romance anymore. The kids just have such vibrant personalities, and this author did wonderfully writing their interactions with each other and with the main characters. 8/10
