Nugget smiled, the redness on his cheeks more evident in the soft glow of the hallway. He moved to the painted brick wall beside the door, leaning his back against it and sliding down, probably covering the brown of his suit in tiny flecks of dirt. Lily followed his lead, only being slightly more careful not to damage or ruin her dress. It really was a nice dress, fit her like a glove, but she couldn’t let herself focus on how pretty she felt when all her brain wanted to fixate on was the overwhelming atmosphere.

Lily would roll her eyes and cross her arms whenever Billy lorded this fact over her.
